New Database Allows You To Search Every Hospital Violation in Connecticut
The violations were found at the time of inspection at all 29 Connecticut hospitals and was prepared by the Connecticut Health I-Team.
No one wants to go the hospital, but if you do or if a loved one needs to, you’re likely going to want to check out this new searchable in-depth database prepared by the Connecticut Health I-Team.
In the first of its kind, the C-HIT team has compiled a massive database of every hospital in Connecticut and includes reports of violations found during inspections.
But what makes this database truly unique is that you can read the entire inspection report and violation along with the hospital’s corrective action. The inspection reports and violations are from 2013-2015.

Some of the more recent citations at hospitals in Connecticut include poor physical condition of the hospitals, including the presence of mold and fungus, and both poor patient care and infection control measures, C-HIT reports.
C-HIT staff, comprised of an investigative team of journalists reporting on in-depth health and public safety stories in the state, spent months getting all of the inspections reports and uploading them into the database.
