MILFORD, CT — A local developer, Agro Brothers Investments, LLC, is seeking approval for a special exception for a dog daycare facility at 40 Quirk Road. The proposal is on the Milford Planning and Zoning Board agenda for tonight's meeting (May 5), which begins at 7 p.m.

According to City Planner David Sulkis the applicant is seeking to occupy a nearly 7,000-square-foot existing building to establish a dog daycare and boarding facility. An outdoor play yard of 20’ x 109’ with 6’ solid fence is proposed at the rear of the building.

Nine parking spaces are provided on site. The application is a special exception because the use is not a listed use in the zone, but it is not a prohibited use, according to Sulkis' staff report.
