New, Unique Business Set To Open In Downtown Milford

The business opens officially on Oct. 16 in downtown Milford.

MILFORD, CT — A new business is about to open in downtown Milford. Static Era and Records will open at 43 River St. on Oct. 16 and will be open on Fridays and Saturdays.

According to its social media, the business is an "Independent record label. Distributed by eOne and Amplified Distribution."

"We stock new and (cared for) used vinyl, vinyl accessories, new and vintage music merchandise, books, zines and more," according to its website.

The owner is Jay Reason who owns two record labels, Static Era and Wargod Collective, the New Haven Register reports. Reason said he hopes people will come and browse the inventory and just hang out and have fun. He also promised there will be several surprises, the Register reports.

The store hours are noon to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays starting on Oct. 16.
