The No. 1 Place To Live In CT Is Milford, New Report Says

The small city with a big heart received the top honors in a new report.

MILFORD, CT — And the best place to live in Connecticut is.....drumroll please...Milford, Conn, according to the authors of HomeSnacks, who say they crunched the data in their newest list.

Milford was able to leap Shelton in HomeSnack's latest rankings, which were released in May.

According to the data, Milford's population is 52,331 and the unemployment rate is 5.9 percent. The average home value is $302,200.

How did Milford earn this prestigious title?

HomeSnacks says, "We ranked each U.S. city across a number of criteria from one to 50, with one being the best. We then took the average rank across all criteria, with the city posting the highest overall score being crowned the winner of the title “Best of the Best City to Live in the USA for 2019.”
