Officer Bit During Incident At Target: Milford PD

A woman struggled with officers and bit one on the wrist, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Stratford woman was charged after she bit an officer near Target Saturday, according to police.

A juvenile victim told officers that a woman assaulted him with her shopping bags. Officers attempted to detain Serita Harris, 51, but she struggled with them and bit an officer on the wrist, police said.

Harris sustained minor injuries after she tripped and fell into a red ball in the Target parking lot, police said. She was charged with assault on a police officer, interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace.
