Old Milford Diner Slated For Demolition: Report
Several attempts have been made to save the former landmark but it appears time is running out.

MILFORD, CT — The old Milford Diner, which opened for business in the 1940s but has been closed since 2003 is facing demolition, according to Milford Mirror Editor Jill Dion. The diner is currently falling apart and demolition is planned soon, according to a sign on the the building.
The diner has been located on the SBC Restaurant property on New Haven Avenue. There has been much talk over the years about restoring the diner but that has failed to occur.
In 2012, according to a Milford Patch story there were plans to turn the diner into an arts hub of sorts. Plans included displaying artwork, screen short and classic films, and be a place for like-minded people to spend time and discuss the arts. Renovations were planned but never happened.
