Plans Approved For Woodmont Apartment Buildings: Report
The planning board has approved a developer's plans for three apartment buildings at the site of a former landmark restaurant.
MILFORD, CT — The Milford Planning and Zoning Board approved a developer's proposal to construct three apartment buildings at the former Scribner's site, according to Hearst Connecticut Media. The developer is Anand Realty of West Haven.
The three-story buildings comprising the project will be a total of 15,682 square feet and 13 residential units.
One of the buildings will have a 1,880-square-foot space for a restaurant.

Scribner's was a Woodmont landmark for 45 years. A major fire on Halloween in 2018 caused substantial damage to the restaurant. More than 25 employees lost their jobs overnight.
