Woman Killed After Being Struck by Train in Milford

A woman has died after being struck by an Amtrak train on the New Haven line Monday afternoon, News 8 reports..

The incident was reported around 12:45 p.m. Metro-North officials tell News 8 that an Amtrak train killed a tresspasser just west of the Milford train station.

All Metro-North and Amtrak trains are currently stopped in both directions on the New Haven line while police investigate how the woman got onto the tracks, News 8 reports.

New Haven Line Service between New Haven and Bridgeport is currently delayed due to Police Activity in the vicinity of Milford.
