Popular Eatery Opens In Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — Downtown Milford has a new, fun eatery that recently opened for business. Jake's Diggity Dogs opened at its new location, 40 Broad Street, in June and recently celebrated its grand opening.

Here's what you can find at Jake's: "We carry Micalizzi’s Italian Ice, Walnut Beach Creamery ice cream and soon to replenish our Bubbies Mochi ice cream. Hot dogs, burgers, salad and more. Open 11 a.m - 8 p.m. Sunday-Monday, 11 a.m - 11 p.m Tuesday-Wednesday, 11 a.m. - 2 a.m Thursday - Friday, 11 a.m - 3 a.m Saturday.

On social media, the owners wrote, "We are grateful for our customers who have come in to check out Jake's in downtown Milford! We are getting settled into our new location and are embracing the community! Thank you to those who have helped us to get up and running. Thanks to Joe our very handy talented multi-skilled handy man, Mike Guarnieri the most excellent taper, Stu who is willing to help with just about anything and many others who have invested in us with their time, encouragement and prayers. Happy to be in Milford!
