Renovation Groundbreaking Held At Pumpkin Delight School
The $16 million project will make major upgrades to the school, which hasn't had a major renovation since the Eisenhower administration.

MILFORD, CT — Officials broke ground on the $16 million Pumpkin Delight Elementary School renovation Thursday.
The school was built in 1949 and hasn't had a major renovation since 1955.
The renovation includes a new multipurpose room that can serve as a gym or cafeteria, a new kitchen area and a new science classroom.

Pumpkin Delight's current multipurpose room will turn into a media center. A new secured vestibule system with greeter station will also be built. Bathrooms and other spaces will be upgraded as well.
The renovation is projected to be complete during Fall 2024.
