Rep. Pam Staneski Tours UConn Campuses

As the ranking member of the Higher Education and Employment Advancement committee, State Rep. Staneski toured UConn's campus at Storrs.

From Connecticut House Republicans: As the ranking member of the Higher Education and Employment Advancement committee, State Rep. Pam Staneski (R-119) toured the University of Connecticut Health Center campus and UConn’s main campus at Storrs.

The tours permitted Rep. Staneski to get an overview of UConn’s mission and emphasized their research, commercialization and technology transfer efforts that are critical to the school’s innovation, and the development of new technologies, and the formation of new companies and the creation of new jobs in the state.

State Rep. Pam Staneski said, “Our flagship university should be very proud of the impressive research facility and technological advances they have cultivated the last five years. Connecticut needs to become a leader in innovation and make our state an attractive place to invest, work and do business."
