UPDATE: Report: Body of Adult Male Found on Milford Beach

Update at 2 p.m. Milford police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Nielsen tells Milford Patch that the adult male was found approximately 7:40 a.m. this morning on the beach area.

“We are investigating and working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause. Does not appear suspicious at this time,” Nielsen said.

Update at 12:30 p.m. WFSB 3 TV reports that the body was discovered at 7:40 a.m. in the Seaview Avenue area by near First and Second avenues. Police are still investigating how it got there.

Update: Police tell the CT Post that the death is not suspicious.

Milford police are investigating the discovery of a deceased adult male, whose body was found on Laurel Beach Thursday morning, the Connecticut Post reports.
