MILFORD, CT — A rollover truck crash was reported in Milford on Tuesday morning and closed a local road. The fire department received a 911 call reporting the accident at 7:48 a.m. in the area of Schoolhouse Road near the I-95 exit 35, on/off ramps.

Firefighters arrived and found a Tri-Axle Truck carrying a full load of sand had rolled over onto its side, according to Battalion Chief/Public Information Officer Adam Hansen.

Firefighters used the sand the truck was hauling to divert fuel that had spilled onto the ground from entering any waterways.
