Senator Chris Murphy Walks Through Milford, Eats Lunch in Woodshed

MILFORD, CT – U.S. Senator Chris Murphy’s cross-state walk took him through Milford on Thursday around 3 p.m., the Milford Mirror reported.

Murphy has been walking across Connecticut for the past week, going through a number of communities a day and ending each night with a town meeting, the Milford Mirror reported. He has made a point during his walk to connect with small and local businesses.

While walking through Milford, Murphy was forced to seek cover from the rain and eat his lunch in a wood shed on Pepe’s Farm Road, according to the Milford Mirror. The senator also stopped into SBC Brewery and Restaurant to speak with a commercial clammer and others.
