Several Snow Chances In Upcoming Forecast: CT Weather
Winter is refusing to end as bitterly cold temps are here to stay for at least a few more days and we could see snowflakes too.

Snow showers could produce a quick coating and or up to an inch of snow today, Thursday in Connecticut, according to local meteorologists. And there may even be some more snow on Friday and possibly a snow to ice to rain storm this weekend.
The snow showers today and Thursday will be hit and miss across the state but the unusually cold weather looks to remain through the end of the work week.
The National Weather Service says, "Continued very cold and much below normal temperatures for this time of year with mainly dry conditions. There could be a few snow showers both today and Thursday. Highs forecast for today mainly in the mid 20s to near 30. Lows forecast for tonight around 10 to 20 degrees. Highs forecast more in the low to mid 30s Thursday. These temperatures are around 10 to 15 degrees below normal. Gusty winds around for today through Thursday making for single digits and teens wind chills today through early Thursday.

"Mainly dry conditions continue Thursday night into Friday but there will be a possibility for some snow Friday as the day progresses with the chances for snow increasing Friday night as
low pressure approaches the area. The airmass moderates Friday with high temperatures forecast more in the mid to upper 30s.
Short-range computer guidance has a coating to an inch of snow later today as scattered lake effect streamers reach CT. Many of us won't see much of anything, but a few towns may have flakes flying this afternoon! pic.twitter.com/0IBEXOfZGN

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons says, "A cold day today because of the wind! There will also be a few flurries or snow showers during the afternoon! I want you to dress for 10 (degrees). Cold again tomorrow with a few flurries. I’m expecting mostly cloudy skies and a cold day with 30s on Friday. There could be a touch of light snow at night. Dry weather for Saturday followed by snow ice to rain on Sunday."
