MILFORD, CT — A suspect is in custody after a reported shooting in the area of Housatonic Drive Sunday around 10 a.m., according to police.

Officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to the back. The victim is in stable condition, police said.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing and police ask people to avoid the area.
