Shots Fired Investigated In Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Police Department is investigating a report of gunshots in the “densely wooded area” between the 900 block of New Haven Avenue and the 200 block of Baxter Lane, according to officials.

“The area is frequented by turkey hunters and we will be utilizing our drone to search the area,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police said they have not received any further reports on gun shots in the area between the 900 block of New Haven Avenue and the 200 block of Baxter Lane, police said. The area was searched extensively to no avail, police said. At this time, there is no reason to believe there is a danger to the public, police added.
