Should the Washington Redskins Change Their Name?
This has become such an incredibly important issue that U.S. Senators and the President are weighing in with their opinions. This pressing matter has prompted me to express my feelings on the subject by creating imaginary future headlines that one can expect to see in the event that the Washington Redskin team name is changed.

Ridiculous? You bet! It is not the name change that is ridiculous. It’s the attention that this is being given (and by whom that attention is given). I don’t understand why the Washington Redskins team is being unjustifiably singled out while several other professional sports teams mimic, mock or depict Native American People in a less than favorable way. I personally feel that the Redskins logo is far less offensive than some of the others that are not currently being challenged. In any event, either change them all or leave them all alone.
