Slight Tax Decrease Approved In Milford: Report

The school board also saw some of its funding restored too.

MILFORD, CT — Good news once again for city residents as the Board of Aldermen approved a budget for fiscal 2018-19, which slightly lowers taxes, the Milford Mirror reports. The average homeowner will see a savings of about $11, but at least taxes aren't increasing.

One change of note is that the aldermen added $80,000 to the Board of Education budget after the Board of Finance had reduced its request by $361,500, the Mirror notes.
