Son Charged With Assaulting Father, Verbally Threatens to Kill Him: Milford Police
Milford police say the department's K-9 Zeus had to help in the suspect's arrest.

Milford police say a son is accused of pushing his father to the ground, verbally threatening to kill him and then hiding from police.
But all it took was for Milford’s police K-9 Zeus to help persuade the suspect from out of his hiding spot, police said Monday.
The incident began on Friday when police responded to a Drexel Road house on a report of a domestic violence situation in progress.

According to police, Alec McDonald, 19, pushed his father to the ground, verbally threatened to kill him, then hid from and refused to come out for police.
“McDonald eventually came out of hiding when confronted by Milford Police K-9 Team, Officer Covelli and K-9 Zeus,” police said.

Police said McDonald allegedly violated a court set protective order by being at the house.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond and is charged with second-degree threatening, third-degree assault, violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, interfering and resisting arrest.
