Special Weather Statement Issued for Southern Connecticut

The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for this morning due to fog. "Areas of fog, locally dense, are expected to continue into early this morning before 9am. Visibilities will generally range between 1 and 4 miles, but locally could be reduced to 1/4 mile or less.

Motorists are urged to slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of space between vehicles. Expect locally drastic reductions in visibility early this morning."

I-91 MERIDEN - Delays. I-91 Northbound is congested between Exits 18 and 20 (2.9 miles). Reported Tuesday, April 9 at 6:57 am.

RT-9 MIDDLETOWN - Delays. RT9 Northbound is congested between Exits 11 and 16 (3.2 miles). Reported Tuesday, April 9 at 7:18 am.

I-95 STAMFORD - Delays. I-95 Southbound is congested between Exits 10 and 6 (2.1 miles). Reported Tuesday, April 9 at 7:24 am.

I-91 NORTH HAVEN - Delays. I-91 Northbound is congested between Exits 11 and 13 (1.4 miles). Reported Tuesday, April 9 at 8:03 am.
