St. Mary School & Breast Cancer Awareness

On Friday October 22nd, students and staff at St. Mary School in Milford wore PINK AND TEAL to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In exchange for a small donation, everyone wore pink or teal (for metastatic breast cancer) and they raised $468. Proceeds will be donated to the non profit Barbells for Boobs, which provides mental and physical support after diagnosis. Presenting the check is Principal Deacon Dominic Corraro to the Yeater family who brought the idea to the school community. Deirdre is a breast cancer warrior and her children were proud to accept the donation which will be sent in through their charity pages.
