Stabbing Investigated At Red Roof Inn In Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — Milford police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Friday at the Red Roof Inn on Rowe Avenue in Milford, according to authorities.
The victim, whose identity has not been released by police, suffered injuries that are considered serious but not a threat to his life.
Milford police began the investigation after the department was contacted at about 5 a.m. by the medical staff at Bridgeport Hospital, Milford Campus, that a man was there who was suffering from a laceration.

Police discovered that the injury happened at the inn during a possible domestic violence incident between the injured man and a woman with whom he was staying with at the motel.
"The male was arrested for violating an active State of Connecticut protective order, protecting the female," Milford police said. "This possible domestic violence incident, concerning the male’s suspicious injury, is still being investigated by detectives."
