State Police Probe Fatal Accident in Milford

State Police spokesman Lt. Paul Vance says there was a fatal accident early Monday morning in Milford near Exit 39A on the southbound side of Interstate 95, the Connecticut Post reports.

Vance tells the Post it’s unclear if weather was an issue in the accident. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Interstate 95 southbound, near the accident site was shut down around 1:20 a.m. because of the accident.

The highway reopened around 5:30, the Mirror reports.
