State Rep. Rose Maintains Leadership Roles in Legislature
Representative Kim Rose, Milford, has been reappointed as House Vice Chair of the Housing Committee and Assistant Majority Whip.

From the Connecticut General Assembly: State Representative Kim Rose (D-Milford) has retained her leadership roles for the 2017 Legislative Session. Speaker of the House Joe Aresimowicz (D-Berlin/Southington) has reappointed her House vice chair of the Housing Committee and Assistant Majority Whip.
Rep. Rose picked up a new assignment as a member of the Internship Committee and will continue to serve on the Veterans Affairs Committee.
Speaker Aresimowicz said, “Rep. Rose has been a tireless advocate for the people of Milford, and I look forward to working with her to move our state forward. Her experience, commitment and dedication will be an asset as we face the challenges ahead.”

“I am honored to continue serving as co-chair alongside my colleague, Rep. Larry Butler of Waterbury, the ranking members and the entire Housing Committee,” Rep. Rose said. “There is much work ahead of us, but I am ready and eager to keep working hard in Hartford.”
Rep. Kim Rose began serving her fourth term last Wednesday, when the General Assembly convened the 2017 Regular session.

Rep. Rose added, “I look forward to my work with on the Internship Committee and the Veterans Committee. Giving back to our veterans as much as we can for their invaluable service is only a small token of our appreciation. Recognizing their contributions to maintaining our freedom and liberties and supporting them as much as I can is one of my top priorities.”
