Stolen Milford Car Involved In Chase, Teen Arrested In Greenwich: PD
Greenwich police said a teenager was arrested, but three other suspects eluded capture during a foot pursuit.
MILFORD, CT — A car with a gun inside recently reported stolen out of Milford was involved in a chase that ended in Greenwich early Sunday morning, according to police. A teenager was arrested but three other suspects eluded capture during a foot pursuit.
At approximatley 2:20 a.m., on Oct. 9, Rye Brook, N.Y., police pursued the car into Greenwich when it came to a sudden stop in the area of Brookside Drive, police said.
Four suspects fled on foot, and a 17-year-old boy from Bridgeport was apprehended. The three other suspects were able to get away, police said.

"Car thefts continue to be a problem thoughtout Connecticut and New York," Greenwich police said on Facebook. "Changes in CT legislation regarding pursuits and juvenile law over the years, coupled with an abundance of vehicles left with key fobs inside, have made this crime easier for the criminals."
Police urged residents to remove keys from their cars.
