Stop & Shop Reveals Newly Remodeled Milford Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in Milford, Connecticut, located at 1360 East Town Road. The updates are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options that make grocery shopping easier for local customers.

The new features at the Milford store include an enhanced produce and bakery department with a wide variety of cakes and sweets to make every occasion special, convenient additions to the deli department, and more grab-and-go meal solutions including fresh sushi and delicious flatbread pizza.

“We look forward to offering Milford community members an overall healthier shopping experience with more variety,” shares Joann Caruso, Store Manager of the Milford Stop & Shop. “The convenient meal solutions, like our flatbread pizza, combined with our pickup service, is sure to help local families get through the busy holiday season.”

The Milford store continues to offer Same Day Pickup, providing local customers with a faster and more convenient way to shop with pickup available in as little as four hours. Customers can place an order on the Stop & Shop® mobile app, or visit www.stopandshop.com, click on “Order Online” and select “Pickup” at the Milford store. Customers can then head to the store and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car. Customers new to Pickup can receive the service free for 90 days by entering SSFREEPICKUP at checkout*.

Customers who visit the newly remodeled Milford store may enjoy free giveaways, product samples, or a slice of celebratory cake while shopping from December 17 through December 19, while supplies last. Customers can also stop by for a socially distanced “Selfie with Santa” on December 18 from11am-2pm, where they will receive a free copy of their picture with Santa to take home.
