CT Weather: Thunderstorms Sunday, Then 90 Degrees Monday, Tuesday
Sunday's weather brings major weather changes for Connecticut, but first we'll have to deal with some thunderstorms. Here's when.
CONNECTICUT — Saturday's weather was wonderful, and Sunday's not so much. Some rain moved through early this morning and there is a chance for a strong thunderstorm this afternoon and evening.
Fox 61 meteorologist Sam Sampieri said on social media that the best chance for storms is "mid-late afternoon" and a few might produce heavy downpours and strong wind gusts.
Once the unsettled weather moves on Sunday night, then the temperatures heat up with temperatures into the 90s for Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will cool off beginning on Wednesday and as of right now Friday and Saturday look perfect with sunshine and temperatures into the mid 80s.
