Rain And Fog Today, Then Beautiful Weather Moves In For CT
Here are new details on when we can expect rain and foggy conditions in CT today and Wednesday before we see significant changes.

CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service says we can expect light rain showers to develop this afternoon and then heavier rain is forecast for tonight. The rain is expected to end on Wednesday morning, which will lead to beautiful weather beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing on Thursday and Friday.
Connecticut may see another half inch of rain by early Wednesday. The big unknown is the weekend weather forecast where Sunday is now expected to include rain.

"A cold front approaches today and moves across the region tonight. Cloudy conditions are expected during the daytime with spotty light rain or drizzle possible. Widespread rain begins to develop well north and west of New York City late in the day and overspreads the entire region tonight. The rain will taper off from west to east after midnight. The cold front moves offshore early Wednesday morning with dry conditions and high pressure returning later Wednesday into Thursday."
"Temperatures today will be near normal in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be slightly above normal in the lower to middle 60s. The coolest conditions at night will occur Wednesday night as temperatures fall into the upper 30s and lower 40s inland and middle and upper 40s elsewhere."

WTNH News 8 Chief Meteorologist Gil Simmons, said, "Dry for most of the morning but plan on some spotty rain or spotty drizzle coming in this afternoon. High temperatures only in the 50s to about 60°. Rainy this evening and overnight tonight. The rain will end early tomorrow followed by beautiful weather with sunny skies and 65 to near 70 tomorrow! Nice weather again on Thursday! Stay tuned on the weekend forecast, I am not excited!"
