'Toy Sword' Leads To Charges In Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman, Maria Schaal, 32, of Cindy Circle, is accused of striking a man with a "toy sword" during a verbal argument, while the man was holding a juvenile, police said.

On Dec. 22, police responded to a Cindy Circle home on a report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Schaal and she is charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

Her court date is Dec. 23.
