Updated Detour Information on Roses Mill Road in Milford

The traffic detour previously announced on Roses Mill Road is rescheduled to begin on Feb. 2 due to the recent inclement weather conditions.

The Milford Police Department announced that the detour will run till Feb. 13.

The detour was previously scheduled to begin on Jan. 26

The alternate detour routes and hours of operation will remain the same.

Roses Mill Road will be closed to southbound traffic only between the Boston Post Road (Route 1) and Woodmont Road from the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roadway construction will be taking place in this area weather permitting.

Signage will be posted for the traffic detour.

The following detour routes are being provided:

• Boston Post Road (Route 1), East Town Road, Old Gate Lane and Woodmont Road
• I-95 Northbound Exit 39 to Exit 40 (Old Gate Lane) to Woodmont Road
• Boston Post Road to Peck Lane (Orange) to Roses Mill Road
• Businesses in this area will be open and accessible to the public.
