MILFORD, CT — A masked man attempted to break into a bakery's shed Wednesday night in Milford.

The break-in attempt occurred at Simply Scones at 471 Naugatuck Ave., according to a Facebook post from the eatery.

The suspect used a garden tool to rip out a mailbox the business uses for cash on the weekends, severely damaging the shed. However, as it wasn't the weekend, there was no cash to take.
