Winner In Milford/Orange Probate Judge Race Revealed
A recount was recently held.
MILFORD/ORANGE, CT — It may have taken a few extra days, but a winner has been decided in the Judge of Probate race between Ben Gettinger, a Democrat, and Win Smith, a Republican.
On election day the race was too close to call as Smith held a slim lead and then Gettinger surged ahead by about 50 votes once absentee ballots were counted.
A recount this weekend confirmed that Gettinger won and will be the next judge of probate for the Milford/Orange district.
