Woman Arrested Twice In Same Day For Stolen Vehicles: Milford PD
Police recovered three stolen vehicles in Milford, plus another in New Haven.
MILFORD, CT — A New Haven woman was charged twice in the same day in connection with stolen vehicles, according to police.
Officers went to the area of Wolf Harbor and Wheels Farms roads July 3 to look for a vehicle that was stolen from a Wheelers Farms Road residence. They saw three vehicles travel through the stop sign near the commuter parking lot, one of which matched the stolen vehicle location, police said.
Officers followed the vehicles to a dead end and all the occupants attempted to flee on foot. Operator Amiya Jennette, 18, was detained and charged, police said. All three vehicles were stolen.

Later in the day, New Haven officers detained four juveniles and Jennette in a vehicle that was stolen from Milford, police said. The four juveniles and Jennette were charged.
Jennette was charged with second-degree larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear.
