Woman Escapes Carjacking In Milford After Violent Struggle: PD
A woman was assaulted and nearly abducted during a carjacking at a Milford gas station. Police are seeking information on suspects.

MILFORD, CT — A passenger managed to escape carjackers who stole a vehicle from a Milford gas station and assaulted her, according to police.
Police responded to a report Sunday at 12:09 a.m. from a man who said his vehicle was stolen from the Cumberland Farms at 1023 Boston Post Road with his 25-year-old sister still inside.
A police investigation found that one of the suspects entered the vehicle and attempted to remove the woman, punching and kicking her.

A second suspect drove the vehicle westbound on Cherry Street. The vehicle then stopped less than half a mile from the gas station and both suspects go out, trying to remove the woman a second time, police said.
She was able to get into the driver's seat and drive off. The suspects entered a dark SUV which took off toward exit 39 on I-95.

The victim was taken in for medical evaluation as a precaution.
