Woman Faces Numerous Charges In Milford ID Theft Case: Police

A woman who police found had two active warrants out for her arrest has been charged in an identity theft case, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport woman is accused of identity theft and criminal impersonation in Milford, according to police.

Police responded to Sikorsky Bank at 15 Turnpike Square on a report of suspicious activity March 27.

Police said Chambreona Williams, 26, of Bridgeport, attempted to open a bank account and make a transaction with false identities and documents.

Williams was also found to have two warrants out for her arrest for failing to appear in court cases out of Norwalk.

She was charged with identity theft, criminal impersonation, third-degree forgery, second-degree failure to appear, and first-degree failure to appear.

Her bond was set at $145,000. She is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on April 26.
