Woman Shot In Milford, Police Investigating

MILFORD, CT — A woman was shot near a Melba Street apartment complex, and she is listed in stable condition, police said.

Police are investigating the shooting and say there is no threat to the public. Police said they responded to the apartment complex on Melba Street just before midnight on Sunday to investigate a report that there was a female subject there who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The woman was located, medical aid was rendered, and she is currently in stable condition, police said.

This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public, police said.
