Woman Steals Ex-Boyfriend's Phone, Tries to Hit Him With a Car in Milford: Police
Milford police say the woman denied stealing the phone but when they called it, it rang in her vehicle.

MILFORD, CT — A woman is accused of taking a cell phone from her ex-boyfriend, locking herself in a car and then trying to hit him with the vehicle, Milford police said.
Police said they responded to a Bridgeport Avenue restaurant on a complaint of possible domestic violence. Investigation led to the arrest of Ileena Zamfino, 30, of Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, who is accused of taking a cell phone out of the hand of a male she was in a previous relationship with and locking herself in her vehicle, police said.
She then tried to hit the male with her car as she was leaving the parking lot with the phone in her vehicle, police said.

Investigating officers asked Zamfino to return the phone, which she denied having until it was called and located by officers in her vehicle, police said.
She is charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree larceny.

She is released after posting a $500 bond.
