Woman Steals Stroller, Places Baby Inside Leaves Babies-R-Us: Police
Milford police say the alleged theft occurred all the way back in 2008 and an arrest was made this week.

MILFORD, CT - Police say a New Haven woman walked into Babies-R-Us eight years ago with a baby, took a stroller without paying for it, and then simply placed the baby in the stroller and walked out of the store.
Police said on May 27 they took custody of Johnisha Harris, 23, of Hazel Street, who is accused of taking a $200 baby stroller from Babies-R-Us on Nov. 25, 2008.
Harris along with two other women and a baby walked into Babies-R-Us placed the baby in the stroller and walked out of the store, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny, risk of injury, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on June 21.
