Woman Stole $50k From Milford Employer: PD

A woman stole $50,000 from her employer over the course of a year, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven woman was arrested after she stole more than $50,000 from her former employer, according to police.

Michelle Anseeuw, 47, was arrested on an active warrant Feb. 6.

She is accused of stealing the money through a fraudulent customer return scheme at Carquest Auto Supply in Milford from September 2020 to September 2021, police said.

Anseeuw was charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree computer crime. She was released on a promise to appear and is due in court Feb. 28.
