Woman Uses Daughter's Toy Stroller to Shoplift From Macy's: Milford Police
Police say the woman gave police a fake name in an effort to conceal she was wanted on a warrant.

MILFORD, CT — Police say a Shelton woman is accused of trying to use her daughter's toy stroller to shoplift more than $500 worth of items from Macy's at the Connecticut Post mall.
Police said on March 25 officers responded to Macy's at 1201 Boston Post Road on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Investigation led to the arrest of Colleen Daly, 42, of Spring Glen in Shelton, who is accused of taking over $518 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it, police said.
Daly used her juvenile daughter's toy stroller to conceal the items as she left the store, police said. Further investigation showed Daly gave officers on-scene a false name of "Michele Daly" in an attempt to conceal that she had an active warrant for her arrest, police said.
