A Flurry of News from Monroe-based Telenity
Telenity, with corporate offices at 755 Main Street, Monroe, on Feb. 21 announced that Turkcell, one of Turkey's leading service providers, had selected its Canvas Converged Services Platform.

-based telecommunications technology firm Telenity recently introduced two new products and announced a major customer win.
Telenity, with corporate offices at 755 Main Street, on Feb. 21 announced that Turkcell, Turkey's leading telecommunications company with 34.4 million subscribers, had selected its Canvas Converged Services Platform components to be deployed in Turkcell's Telco 2.0 Service Provider Gateway.
By using Telenity’s CSP in its service provider network, Turkcell will be able to custom tailor communications services for its corporate and residential subscribers with greater ease, a press release states. With the ability to target services to only those segments that need them, as opposed to making them available to all subscribers, Turkcell will be able to conserve precious network bandwidth and improve scalability.

What’s more, with Telco 2.0-enabled versions of Telenity’s Service Provider Gateway and Service Control and Management Environment (SCME) components, Turkcell will have the ability to open up its mobile network to business and technology partners, “turning it into an effective Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) platform that supports a wide range of applications and services across many vertical market segments with multi-sided business models,” the release states.
On Feb. 22 Telenity announced the launch of its Canvas SmartCoverage location-based 3G network coverage and capacity planning solution. The product, recently tested in a Tier 1 mobile operator network overseas, “provides operators with the ability to make considerably more informed capital investment decisions through subscriber (end user) targeting, location-based profiling, and demand-side reporting,” the company said in a release.
