Attorney Tim Moynahan Established Thanksgiving Food Donation Bin at Palace Theater
Attorney Tim Moynahan has established a food donation bin inside the box office area of the Palace Theater in Waterbury

Attorney Timothy C. Moynahan (center) has spearheaded a community outreach effort for the Palace Theater to serve as an official drop-off location for Brass City Harvest’s Interfaith Ministries Thanksgiving 2014 food-drive. Helping Attorney Moynahan launch the drive at the Palace Theater was (l to r) Frank Tavera, CEO of The Palace Theater; Amy Hartman, administrative assistant/paralegal with the Moynahan Law Firm, and Joe Gugliotti, managing member of Worx Branding and Advertising.
Moynahan, founder of The Moynahan Law Firm in Waterbury and Southbury, was chairman of The Palace Theater’s Board of Directors from 2005 to 2007. Recently Palace Theater CEO, Frank Tavera, commented, “In March 2003, Tim Moynahan was one of six leading Waterbury businesspeople to develop a governing body to monitor the Palace Theater’s operations and ensure the theater’s long-term success. Although a daunting task during uncertain economic times and a non-existent track record, ten years later, the commitment of these ambitious is being realized with our revenue regularly exceeding $4.5 million on an annual basis.”
Moynahan has been practicing law in the Waterbury region since 1964. Through November 20th, theater patrons and area residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable foods to the bin located at The Palace Theater Box Office at 100 East Main street during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons will also be able to bring donation items with them during the theater’ upcoming November events.
