Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at A FLAG DAY CELEBRATION at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library’s Ehlers Room. See Betsy Ross and her friend talk about the making of the flag, and join us for some flag trivia.
The event is part of Monroe’s ongoing recognition of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, encouraging all residents to reflect on how diverse people influenced the events of the American Revolution and the role each of us plays in shaping our community.
