Designed for drivers age 50 and older, this course will cover rules of the road, recent law changes, various driving environments and other driving skills. Also reviewed will be necessary driving strategies to compensate for age-related physical changes. Participants may qualify for an auto insurance discount. Although there are no tests, to qualify for the discount, participants must complete the 4-hour session to be eligible.
Cost for the program is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members to cover materials and processing costs and should be brought to the program. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.
