Parents of entering first graders are invited to attend an event to help you and your child prepare for the trials and tribulations of first grade. Our host will be Colleen McMellon, a veteran first grade teacher in Trumbull. She will help you choose the right books and materials for your child to read this summer, and suggest books for you to read to your child to be bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed-ready for the first grade experience.
