'READ' with Gracie

Children ages 5-10 may register to read to Gracie, a certified therapy dog, between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the in the children's story room.

Gracie and her handler have been trained in the R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dog) program, which improves children's reading and communication skills.

Each child will spend 15 minutes reading to Gracie. They may bring their own book or choose one at the library before their session.
