Friday, October 24th
Family Night at Norwalk Community College: Spooky Science This Halloween try our scary experiments! Change liquids, make fake eyeballs float in midsolution, learn about bats and how to do spooky tricks! Fun for kids AND their parents at NCC.
A Haunting at Mill Hill at Norwalk Historical Society. Take a lantern lit tour through the Mill Hill Historic Park graveyard. Listen to new chilling tales from the Norwalk spirits. Nightly tours on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25h at 6pm, 7:30pm & 9pm.
Enchanted Forest at Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield. Come for a hoot of a Halloween at Connecticut Audubon Societys Enchanted Forest. Nature-themed celebration, the Enchanted Forest introduces entertaining (and educational!) information about nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.
Family Howl Prowl at Woodcock Nature Center Join us for some fun-filled night time activities and a live wolf presentation during this Non-Scary Halloween themed event!
Light The Night - Brookfield First Assembly Of God What is Light the Night: A fun filled night for families with kids Toddler - 6th grade. There will be carnival style games, bounce houses, candy, snacks, crafts, movies, music and much more!
THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST: KANSAS OR BUST! A new musical! at Pantochino Productions Inc.. Pantochino Productions Inc. presents the new musical comedy for the entire family. The must-see event of the Halloween season! Fresh, funny and 100% original entertainment live on stage in Milford.
ASTRONOMY NIGHTS: Pluto: The Battle for a Planet at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Head to the Observatory to explore the night sky, planets, stars, and more!
Open Play at Whippersnapper’s Play Gym in Cheshire Whippersnapper’s Open play is available to members and non-members. Open play is not monitored by staff. You may use the gym and the equipment that is in the gym as you wish (within gym rules) and you must stay with your children.
Pumpkin Patch Excursion at the Connecticut Trolley Museum at Connecticut Trolley Museum. Catch a trolley to our pumpkin patch where kids can look for their favorite pumpkin. Catch the next trolley car back to the Visitors Center where your children can paint faces on their selection and have their faces painted too!

Saturday, October 25th
Woodland Halloween at Westbrook Nature School. Bake bread, make apple cider in our cider press, see a charming puppet show and take an enchanted fairy tale trail walk. Organic soup and bread will be served. Non-scary costumes are optional. RSVP to 203-664-1554 or info@westbrooknatureschool.org.
Shriners Funsters and False Alarmers at Brown’s Harvest We’re in for a lot of fun when the Shriners Funsters and False Alarmers come out to the Farm! Saturday and Sunday Oct. 18 and 19 and October 25 and 26.
The Witch, the Broom and the Cauldron at the Bijou! The Witch, the Broom and the Cauldron is the first of three live theatre events for young children. We are fortunate to have this show written by the author of the original childrens book with the same title!!
Train Ride To the Pumpkin Patch at the Railroad Museum of New England in Thomaston Take a ride to the Pumpkin Patch aboard the Naugatuck Railroad! Each child gets to choose a pumpkin in the Naugy’s own pumpkin patch. Then re-board the train for a fun and scenic ride back to Thomaston Station!

Listen to a story and then explore line, shape, color, and other elements of art with Museum educators.
Halloween Hysterics in the Oldest House in CT at the Henry Whitfield State Museum Flashlight tours, scavenger hunts, craft activities, displays on the Whitfield/Salem witch trial connection and the cemeteries under the Guilford Green, and tours of the Holidaze exhibit. Included with museum admission.
