
MONROE, CT - An empty home on Downs Road in Monroe was destroyed by a fire early Tuesday morning, according to officials.
Multiple crews responded to the blaze, which started around midnight, reports Fox61 News.
The home, located at 39 Downs Road, was in the midst of having construction work done. Firefighters battled for about two and a half hours to bring it under control.
