Furnace Stolen from House Under Construction

The contractor reported the theft of a $1,000 furnace Dec. 14 from a house under construction on Elm Street.

Police said two furnaces manufactured by International Comfort Products were brought in for Custom Air Systems to install in the attic and basement, adding the one brought for the basement was taken sometime overnight.

The contractor told officers he does not know how the house was entered, because it is difficult to tell when a home is under construction, according to the report.
